8 of Swords

8swords.jpg
This card shows disorientation. You don't know who you are or what you want—you feel like an outsider in a community. It is too easy to listen to others, and you don't know what to do unless someone tells you to.
The environment (8) pushes you to grasp and think clearly (the elements of the suite = air), but you are not in touch with yourself, so you do not know what you want.

You feel left out. You cannot participate in anything social or planned. You have problems with friends or family. You are an outsider, sad and alone, lost with yourself.
You are dodging worries. You have promised to do something, but you are disappointed. You avoid all responsibility, feeling relief.

Love
There is nothing to build on but lust for power insecurity. You cannot show your feelings for fear of being left behind or insufficient. You're hard to reach, elusive, swinging in the mood. Manic-depressive quickly creates a lousy conscience and gets stuck in fear of being abandoned or not being seen. You avoid a relationship; the limitations are too significant for love to be enough to defeat them. You are limited, doubting, have low self-esteem, demand attention but have difficulty sharing a companionship, insecure and elusive.

Past
You have encountered obstacles, been stuck, and had difficulty finding your role. You have had a challenging period with much resistance in your planning and relationships.
Present
You are limited, worried, pessimistic, insecure, evasive, cowardly, procrastinate, and not daring to try. You encounter obstacles in your activities.
Future
You can meet resistance and incomprehension of your actions. You are facing obstacles, limitations, and hitting the wall. It's hard to feel freedom.

In the East (Work)
There are a lot of restrictions now. Is it that you make too much money, create performance anxiety, and don't get anywhere just because you can't be in what is? You don't seem to get anything done except worry about everything. You should dare to question not only yourself but others as well to give the opportunity a chance. Or decide to turn your back to find out something else. Everything is your choice; probably, you're mistaken; dare to take responsibility for your actions.

In the South (Love)
Have you been confused your whole life? It's probably time you stop and feel what you think, what you want, and what is most vital to feel loved. You limit yourself and your possibilities; there are probably no elevators to hang out with. You probably feel sorry for yourself and are unprepared to take responsibility for what happened without slipping away and blaming yourself. You are good at criticizing yourself and any partner; nothing is good or right. See your fear, let go, and dare to move on. Having a lousy conscience makes no love.

In the West (Economics)
You feel no security but are probably confused and worried about how everything will end. You feel powerlessness at the highest level, panic, and maybe dip together because you do not know how everything can be. You don't create a structure but rather see what is wrong with the opportunities. Stop putting the responsibility on others and blaming yourself. See what you can change. See your situation from a different angle. Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Dare to see the opportunities instead.

In the North (Health)
You do not feel good about yourself; you certainly have performance anxiety, inner turmoil, and the powerlessness that governs your thoughts. You don't see, can't stop, and chase yourself down unnecessarily just to have something to criticize yourself for. You misbehave, eat wrong, are tired of the body, and cannot move forward; you can be pleased about most things. You should stop, review your situation, and decide where your boundaries go.

In Void (spiritually)
You have a tough time seeing anything other than what you worry about, what you have right in front of your eyes. You are restless right into the soul, maybe a little suspicious, and do not know where you belong. If you choose to stay in it, you create inner chaos to avoid taking responsibility and have a tough time now. What makes you so remarkable that you think you are so unique that you cannot take the place that is yours? Let go of bad conscience, the feeling of not being enough, quitting infection from responsibility, and creating a positive affirmation instead.
