The Ship (The Tower) signifies changes; perhaps what you built up went too fast. You had the foundation and the materials, then it went too quickly or under the influence of others, and now the constructed structure doesn't hold up and collapses. It can involve everything we have as security – emotions, houses, investments, money, etc. But if the card is upright or well-aspected, you have the foundation and some materials left to start over, and maybe it will be torn down this time. However, sometimes in life, we need to lose our grip and let go of something to grow and move forward.
The life values you hold may come to light in a way you didn't expect; everything is turned upside down and then back again, and you may not recognize it even though the similarities remain. There can be a lot of fear in this card; you're afraid to leave what feels safe, even if it might not be but just an "illusion." Often, you initiate these tumultuous events yourself, even if you might not see it immediately. It can even show moving, leaving a building, and finding one safer, especially with cards like 7 of Swords and Knight of Wands. The Shio (Tower) always shows changes inside and out, but it doesn't have to be negative. Far from it, you may not get what you want at the moment, but on the other hand, you also won't get anything that is entirely against your karma.
Changes, conflicts, and disruptions. Change is coming to you without you perhaps expecting it.
Unexpected changes can sometimes be drastic. You may get stuck in a situation that is difficult to get out of. Don't do what you want.
Love
In changes, let go of everything that no longer serves to create something new. Worry and fear can take control instead of following a flow of love. You probably have to make some demands, but simultaneously, be prepared to let go of your preconceived notions about how a relationship works. Because here, nothing is as it "should be," but it is after the impulse, the experience, with the longing for the total.
Past
You have made changes, something has disappeared, and something has been added. You've quickly had to let go of something you've learned and start over.
You've lost everything. The setbacks have been challenging, but it has been (past). Possibly a forced relocation or that you have lost your home.
Present
You are facing new beginnings, changes created quickly and intensely, starting a new life. You have to let go of what you think matters. Quarrels, conflicts, rebellions.
Life is playing tricks on you; it rages around you: worry, conflicts, abuse, powerlessness, abuse.
Future
A change is happening; you need to let go of what you have and possibly move and change jobs simultaneously. Something habitual changes can also show a shock, a change that comes suddenly.
Something is lost; you get lost and expose yourself to danger.
Personality and Soul
You are a person who doesn't waste resources. When something doesn't work as you want, you finish it and move on to something better. You ensure changes occur—even on a larger scale. You are good at identifying errors and where improvements are needed. You are often very outgoing, speaking loudly and cheerfully, or you completely withdraw into yourself. In the worst case, there might be a substantial outburst of temper, but that's when you feel cornered and stuck in a situation you don't know how to resolve.
Yearly lesson
This is a year of changes. How have you lived your life, what have you neglected, and what have you been careless about? It comes back now to give you a chance to start over. A year with willpower and determination to see your possibilities and to dare to invest even if you've faced setbacks before; now, you need to focus on your motivation. A year that wants to help you see the structure of your life.
