Hagalaz - Challenge
Carved
With Hagalaz you find two prime staffs, two Issaz, and two individual forces bound together by one descending from one side and one ascending from the other.
Here is communication, an exchange of energies that is not directed in any direction except within these two carvings of Issaz. It's about polarity.
Two equal energies that meet and mirror each other. Just as we all do when we have created an identity (in the previous runes) to shake everything up in Thurisaz, it doesn't matter if you carve the carving in the middle upwards or downwards; it takes on the same meaning as locked between the two.
If you pulled Hagalaz
Be open to all new possibilities and changes, even those not in your plan. Because now you are meant to dare more than before, life challenges you with unexpected events; what do you choose to make of them?
Hagalaz hidden shows that most things around you have no basis: hopelessness and fear of what cannot be controlled.
If you are drawn to Hagalaz
You thrive on change. You strive to shake up most things and find new angles. Your inner drive is to cut ties and create freedom.
Guidance
Work
You have more going on than you might be able to handle now. Full speed is an action that changes a lot in your planning. It is now that the changes that you thought about are expressed.
Love
Now is the time to achieve new orientations in relationships or create new ones. Dare to highlight yourself, show who you are, and step out of the closet in your new look.
Economy
Review your finances so that you are not holding onto something that should have been released long ago. Release energy instead of locking it up. More income is available if you dare to look around.
Health
There are purges in the air, daring to demand time for yourself, possible infections, and small things that must be up, out, and away.
Spiritually
Allow all thoughts to create new directions, and see inner turbulence as innovative power.
